CAPE is a national initiative led by the North Central Regional Center for Rural Develoment developed to provide resources for local decision-makers to get a better understanding of the behavioral health concerns in their region. Other partners include the Northeast, Southern, and Western Regional Centers for Rural Development, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
